Dione Page (1936-2021)
Dione Page spent her early days as a Graphic Designer and she was influenced by Mary Fedden and Edward Bawden. She was elected Associate member of the Royal West of England Academy (RWA) in 1990, after winning awards from the RWA in 1986,87 and 88. She had many sold out exhibitions in London and Welsh galleries plus exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions of 1961,62 and 63.
She perfected her own individual style mixing gouache with wax pastels and lumigraph pencils to create very lively, colourful paintings often involving a mixture of still life and action in the background.
