Henry Bailey

Henry Bailey (1848-1933), was born in Brixton London.

He ended up living in Suffolk where he painted many fantastic oil and watercolour paintings of surrounding countryside and coasts as well as venturing further afield to cover the coastal areas of Dorset and Devon.

He exhibited at the Royal Academy twelve times between 1880-1907, the Manchester City Art Gallery, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Institute of Painters in watercolour, The Royal Hibernian Society and the Walker Art Gallery to name a few.

He died in Essex at the age of 81 in 1933.
