Suzy Willey has been a contemporary impasto Queen of Art comic book style for many years and 'Milk Wagon' is an incredible testimony to her totally unique style! She squeezes oil out of a tube with gusto and skill-fully uses her palette knife in a naive manner but in a totally professional way. Joe Scarborogh or Paul Robinsonesque comes to mind.

This painting hits you with Tin Tin and you feel part of the story as the dog laps up the dripping milk and then when you view closely the rugged texture and sharpness of the impasto Suzy has applied is actually very exciting and super cool. You wonder how could someone create an image but do so using this crazy but brilliant and very inspirational technique! (Must take hours literally we hear).

Suzy was trained by the late Gerard Hemsworth at Goldsmiths, London and has become synonymous with her own unique style.

Her works are regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and other galleries.

This original painting measures 31 cm x 41cm and 35cm x 45 cm in its frame.

It was originally exhibited by the Connaught Brown Gallery in Picadilly, London.

It's probably the only painting I've never been frightened to touch!

In stunning original condition.
