Anthony Quinn (1915-2001) was not only famous in films (AKA Zorba the Greek and many others), but he is also a celebrated and widely collected artist. He would literally use any medium when not filming to produce a very high level of abstact art ranging from marker pens on menus, to top quality sculptures.

We are pleased to offer 3 original Anthony Quinn serigraphs and lithographs including 'Facets of Liberty' which is a very rare limited edition (no.3 of only 100) lithograph and one of his most famous works. It was originally produced by Tripart in 1986 in Melbourne Australia and is signed personally and originally by Anthony Quinn .

Very low number in run.

He created Facets of Liberty in 1985 to co-incide with the 100 year anniversary of the Statue of Liberty in 1986. The painting features the head and face of Lady Liberty in a montage with another more obscured  face superimposed on the viewers right.

A shadowy silhouette of the Statue of Liberty also appears in the background on the right side of the image. The original painting is currently held at a gallery owned by Glenn Harte in Maui. Harte opened the gallery in 2004 to feature many of Quinn’s artworks.

Anthony Quinn’s son Lorenzo is one of the most famous internationally renowned    sculptor’s in the world today.

His work is now actively sought after and collected worldwide and there are a number of ongoing exhibitions particularly in the USA. This piece has been framed in a stunning modern black frame (see house pictures above) which gives the painting a fantastic look as the two sides to Liberty stand proud together and apart.

The lithograph is signed and measures a good sized 48 x 66cm and in frame is 67.5 x 85.5cm.
