A beautiful special print of the original acrylic painting of the winter sea by Marina Syntelis (b.1975)!
In Marina's words "“I’ll never forget the day I painted it (it was painted almost in a single day!). I love windy, cloudy days which are not common where I live. Southern winds are my favourite as they form beautiful waves near my home. On such windy days, I don’t work in the studio. I drive to the beach just to breathe in those waves. I also take photos. As the car was running, I failed to take a photo of a view I found stunning. I was disappointed but I remembered it very vividly. When I got home, I took a canvas and put all my feelings on it. I used acrylics just because I wanted to work fast, in case I forgot what I had seen.”
The image is 50cm x 70cm and is framed floating in a white box frame. The size with frame is 54cm x 74cm
The painting is an exact replica of the original and looks incredible.
It is a different calmer sea for Marina but with a hint of something else which balances the calmness well.
Due to the scarcity and popularity of her originals (with so much oil layer work Marina only produces 6 – 8 new standard size paintings a year), we were proud to launch a limited edition run of only 15 Artists Proofs and 99 standard Museum quality canvas prints of most of her major paintings to date!

Framing options are for either a single white float frame or a double white Mediterranean style floating frame (black frames are also an option as are other frame types if required)
The canvas is acid free and can include a UV protection varnish if required.
