Regarding 'Crashing Clouds' Marina commented:
“In this painting, I focused on the different ways the sea expresses its power. I wanted to create a scene that could not be found in nature. Stormy clouds, waterfalls, dark waves, the sky and sea becoming one. As I kept working on the painting, I realised that what I thought of as impossible, could under certain conditions, actually exist. There is no such thing as impossible in nature!".
