H
Paul Robinson was born in Penrith,Cumbria, in the heart of the Eden Valley in 1959.
He studied Fine Art at Carlisle College of Art before to London to work as a professional illustrator (Sunday & Radio Times).
In contrast to the tranquil beauty of the Eden Valley he was inspired by the hustle and bustle of London life and he developed a fluid impasto style full of colour and people working in oils and acrylic.
After a while he stopped illustrating and became a full time professional artist who is highly collected publicly and privately worldwide.
In 1999 he moved to East Anglia and this gave him new material but he often returns to the city for inspiration.
His London scenes are particularly sought after and sell very well.
